Drama Camps
Five days of acting, movement, and storytelling. Students learn to express themselves, work as an ensemble, and bring characters to life in a room where trying something and getting it wrong is the whole point.
What the Week Looks Like
Camp runs Monday to Friday, full days. Students work through acting, movement, and storytelling as one connected thing rather than as separate classes, which is how theatre actually works.
The room is built for collaboration. Nothing is competitive, nobody is cut, and the quiet child who signed up reluctantly is as much a part of the ensemble by Wednesday as the one who arrived already performing. That shift is the reason most parents send them back the following year.
Groups are capped at twenty five so every student is known by name and gets real time on their feet. Placement is based on enrolment, each child's interests, and input from parents.
What Students Take Home
- Confidence speaking and moving in front of other people.
- The habit of listening, which is most of what acting is.
- Friendships built quickly, the way they are built in an ensemble.
- Permission to be imaginative out loud, at an age when many stop.
Where and When
Child Safety at Camp
- A non-instructing supervisory adult is present and available at all times.
- Doors to all teaching studios remain open at all times.
- Lunchtime supervision is provided at all times.
Cancellations. Requests must be made in writing at least one month before the camp in question. Summer camp cancellations are refunded in full. Time lost to a closure for severe weather cannot be refunded or credited, though we will provide a make-up day and will do our best to stay open. Keeping everyone safe comes first.
